Finally, I have the chance to use this mold. 🙂

I bought this from Rakuten, Japan….not so costly…but yet i forgot the price.

I love this mold because of the shape which exactly the same as the mister doughnut in Japan.

The texture is more toward cake than chewy doughnut.

Alright, here’s one of the recipe which attached with this mold.

Yield: 12 donuts
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Level: ★

Ingredients:

Pancake mix 200g (you can buy morinaga, for me … i mix it myself)
Egg 1
Cocoa powder 2 TBSP
Unsalted butter 1 TBSP
Granulated sugar 3 TBSP
Milk 110ml

Preparations:

  • Apply the butter (excluded) on the mold

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk egg and milk well.
  2. Sift in pancake mix, cocoa powder and granulated sugar and whisk well.
  3. Add in melted unsalted butter into the batter and whisk well.
  4. Pour the batter into a piping bag, pipe it on the donuts mold until 80% full and bake for 20 minutes in a 180 degree C preheated oven.
  5. Take out from the oven and cool it on a tray. Once the cake is completely cooled down, remove from the mold. Decorate it.

Note:

Ingredients of home made pancake mix. (200g) Just mix everything!

  • granulated sugar 40g
  • baking powder 1g
  • salt a pinch
  • skim milk 12g
  • corn starch 6g
  • plain flour 134g (added up till 200g)

Have you guys heard of this before?!

It’s kind of famous cookies from FRANCE!

I love this sooooo much…it’s easy and quick and simple !!!

I hardly see it in Malaysia, have you guys seen it somewhere in KL? Please let me know LOL

Alright, here’s the recipe that I learned from 友子先生! I will share other flavor on next time.

Yield: 6 shell shapes
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Level: ★

Ingredients:

Plain flour 35g
Baking powder 1g
Unsalted butter 35g
Egg 40g
Granulated sugar 30g
Honey 5g (can replace with liquid glucose)
Lemon squeezed 3ml
Vanilla extract or vanilla paste few drops

Preparations:

  • Sift the flour and baking powder
  • Melt the unsalted butter
  • Preheat the oven to 190 degree C

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, sift in the flour and baking powder.
  2. Add in granulated sugar.
  3. Add in egg and gently mix them together using whisk.
  4. Add in melted unsalted butter, squeezed lemon, honey and vanilla extract. Gently whisk them together.
  5. Rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  6. Pipe the batter into a shell shaped mold, and bake them in a 190 degree C oven for about 15-20 minute until it gets lightly brown color.
